One central fold creates two panels and a compact closed format with a straightforward artwork layout.
Three connected panels reduce the packed footprint while preserving a wider open play surface.
Four panels provide a practical balance between a larger open board and a smaller folded size.
Six panels can support larger play areas when box dimensions require a more compact folded board.
We review artwork against the approved game board dimensions and folding plan before sampling. Keep editable source files available when possible so placement issues can be identified efficiently.
RGB or CMYK color images and grayscale artwork are accepted for review. CMYK is preferred for predictable print preparation. Raster image formats can include JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF; production-ready PDF, AI or EPS files may also be uploaded when available.
Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the final printed size. Enlarging a low-resolution image does not restore missing detail, so always check resolution after the board dimensions are confirmed.
Extend backgrounds and edge-to-edge images approximately 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) beyond every trim edge. At 300 dpi this equals about 38 pixels per side; at 900 dpi it is about 113 pixels per side.
Keep text, logos and important design elements at least 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) inside every trim edge. If the supplied template shows a dotted safe-area guide, keep critical content inside it; guide lines are not printed.
Simple rule: extend background artwork through the bleed, but keep everything that must remain visible inside the safe area.
Review the open size, folded size, quantity, board option, printing and target box format.
Confirm panel sequence, fold direction, bleed, safe area and visible artwork orientation.
Agree the proof or physical sample required to evaluate construction, color and finish.
Review board flatness, fold alignment, wrapped edges, lamination and surface consistency.
Check the folded board against the approved box, insert and complete component stack.
Final dimensions, fold layout, materials and finishes are confirmed during project review.

Yes. Single-sided and double-sided printing can be reviewed. Artwork orientation, fold lines and the visible panel sequence are checked before sampling.
Extend background artwork approximately 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) beyond every trim edge and keep text, logos and essential artwork at least a further 1/8 inch inside the trim line. At 300 dpi, 1/8 inch is approximately 38 pixels; pixel values must scale with the actual file resolution.
Yes. The open play area, folded dimensions, board thickness and component stack can be reviewed together so the finished board fits the approved box and insert layout.
Prototype requirements are confirmed after the board dimensions, fold construction, artwork, materials and finishes have been reviewed.
The form is adapted to this product category so the review team receives the details needed for a practical quotation.
